Complicity in torture crimes against humanity, genocide, money laundering and the concealment of proceeds of criminal activity in Sudan . This is the list of charges gagged, in particular by the International Federation of Human Rights Leagues (FIDH), against the French bank BNP Paribas.
Thursday, September 26, nine Sudanese supported by the FIDH and the NGO Project Expedite Justice filed a complaint with civil suit against BNP Paribas before the senior investigating judge of the High Court of Paris. FIDH lawyers have heard testimony from victims of torture, crimes against humanity and genocide perpetrated in Sudan since the early 2000s.
