The Israeli economic department has started an investigation into Bar Refaeli and his parents for tax evasion. The model, together with her parents have been accused of evading tax worth 7.5 million euros and money laundering between 2009 and 2013. The parents have been included in the investigation following their claim of being beneficiaries to some current account, whereas, Bar was found to be the only beneficiary. It was also discovered that Bar has hidden true information about the ownership of certain real estate properties, which belong to her. However, since no complaint was made against the supermodel and her parents, they are currently conducting a plea bargain which could lead to a proposal of a year half in prison for her mother, Tzipi Refaeli, and a year of social services for Bar herself.
