This report summarizes the AML/CFT measures existing in the Republic of Panama, hereinafter Panama, as of the on-site visit made from May 15 to 26, 2017. It analyzes the compliance level with the 40FATF Recommendations, as well as the effectiveness level of the Panamanian AML/CFT system, and it offers recommendations on how to strengthen this system.
