At the sitting of 7 October, the European Union approved the text of the new directive, approved by the European Parliament in ‘ April last (cfr. Related content), concerning the protection of persons reporting violations of the law ‘ Union (cd whistleblowing).
The new Directive will cover a wide range of sectors, including public procurement, financial services, money laundering, product and transport security, nuclear safety, public health, consumer and data protection.
